Dear Friends of Flour Bluff ISD:
We are excited to begin preparations for our annual Flour Bluff High School Career and Technology Fair. The fair will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (a half-day format). We hope that you will be a part of this event by sharing your expertise with our students.
This event will take place during the school day to insure that all of our high school students have an opportunity to attend. Students will arrive in shifts at different times beginning at 8:30 a.m. It is imperative that you be set up before 8:00 a.m. so that the first group gets to see all the displays.
If you have been a presenter for us in the past years, we appreciate the time you shared with us. For those of you who have not yet brought your talents to our school, we hope you find this experience rewarding. One thing is certain: we need you to help show our students the many different opportunities that await them once they graduate.
Please say yes and share your knowledge with our students. Your efforts are an important service to our community.
Attached is a registration form. The deadline for registration is Friday, April 11, 2008. Complete one registration form per booth with complete contact information. The Career and Technology Fair registration form and Presenter’s checklist can also be obtained from Flour Bluff ISD Website. Please view the attachments. They contain information on questions you may have about who, what, where, when, and why. There is no fee for registration however donations for door prizes for students and adults would be acceptable and greatly appreciated to use for drawings through out the morning.
