Flour Bluff ISD - Intermediate Curriculum Highlights

The academic programs at the Intermediate School are both rigorous and well rounded. Expectations are high and our students meet the challenge on a daily basis. Intermediate students take math, science, reading, grammar, social studies and PE daily. In addition, each student takes an elective class. Currently, we offer kaleidoscope to our 5th grade students. Kaleidoscope consist of ocean studies, Spanish, and general music. All three of these classes are done on a 6-week basis. In addition, 5th graders will take a semester of technology (keyboarding) classes. The 6th grade students can choose their elective classes from either oceans studies/Spanish, band, or choir.
