University Preparatory High School Program

Grades 9 - 12

Imagine taking a giant leap forward by attending college while you are still in high school. In four years you can earn a high school diploma and up to 60 college credit hours!

You might be eligible for the University Preparatory High School Program if you answer YES to one or more of the following questions.

  • Would you be the first in your family to go to college and get a degree?
  • Are you an English Language Learner (First language spoken at home is not English)?
  • Are you at-risk of not graduating from high school?
  • Are you a minority group underrepresented in college?
  • Do you receive free or reduced lunch?

2015-2016 Lottery Drawing

Seventeen (17) spots remain available in the UPHS Program for the next school year, 2015-2016. These spots are for those students who applied but did not meet eligibility according to the UPHS Program criteria. A lottery drawing for these seventeen spots will be held April 30, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. in the board room at the Administration building. This lottery drawing is open to the public and applicants do not need to be present in order to be selected to the UPHS Program. All applicants will be notified by May 4, 2015.
