Based upon communications from the City-County Health Department and state officials, FBISD was expecting to receive H1N1 vaccines in mid-October. However, due to the supply shortages from the companies who produce the vaccines, we have not received the vaccines to date. At this time, we are being advised to expect the vaccines in November. However, this could be adjusted again, based upon availability. Once we receive the vaccines, we will notify parents and make arrangements for parents to bring their children to the school for the vaccines.
