RIchard Pittman

Richard Pittman, President

Mr. Pittman has served on the Board since 1999 and became President in May of 2003. He is President of Bath Engineering Corporation, a consulting engineering firm where he has been employed since 1974. Bath Engineering has offices in Corpus Christi and El Paso, Tx. and provides electrical, mechanical and instrument design for the industrial, military and municipal sectors. Mr. Pittman holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University. He and his wife Joyce have a daughter and son who are graduates of Flour Bluff High School. Mr. Pittman is active in the community. He currently serves as President of the Padre Isles Property Owners, President of Beautify Corpus Christi Association, President of the South Texas Council of Engineering Companies and represents FBISD on the City of Corpus TIF District for Packery Channel.

Wally Graham, Vice-President

Dr. Graham has served on the Board since 1995. He is a graduate of King High School in Corpus Christi. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. He and his wife Shirley have two daughters and one son all of which graduated from Flour Bluff High School. Dr. Graham has served the district in a number of roles including the district improvement council and campus decision-making teams.

Flo East, Member

Flo East, Secretary

Flo East was elected to the Board in May 2003. Mrs. East serves in numerous community service organizations. She currently has two grandchildren in the Flour Bluff ISD. She has two daughters, one which is a graduate of FBHS. Mrs. East states, "working for a better tomorrow is a mission of great importance."

Frank Brogan, Member

Mr. Brogan was appointed in November, 2005 to serve the remaining term vacated by former board member Jon Moon.  He was officially elected to the board in May 2006.  He is the Director of Engineering Services for the Port of Corpus Christi Authority where he in charge of all planning, design and construction of port facilities, real estate and environmental issues. Mr. Brogan holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Engineering from Texas A&I University in Kingsville .  He is a registered professional engineer and surveyor.  He and his wife Deedee have one daughter who is a graduate of Flour Bluff High School.   Mr. Brogan is active in the community serving on various boards and committees.

Dan Thornton
Dan Thornton

George Canales, Member

Mr. Canales has served on the board previously for six years and was re-elected in 2005. He has been a resident of Flour Bluff all his life, and is a graduate of Flour Bluff High School. Mr. Canales is a home builder and realtor. He and his wife Sheryl have three daughters, all of which have graduated from Flour Bluff High School. He is also a TASB ISD Graduate and a TASB Master Trustee.

Steve Ellis, Member

Mr. Ellis was appointed to the board in June 2007 to serve the remaining term vacated by former board member Jimmy Kaylor. He has a BS degree from Texas A&M University, College Station and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law. He is an oil and gas lawyer for EOG Resources, Inc. Mr. Ellis was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and State Bar of California. He and his wife Sharon have four children; two of which have graduated from Flour Bluff High School and two who are currently enrolled in FBISD. He is an active community member and has served as a board member for the Flour Bluff ISD Foundation for Educational Excellence, Inc. He is currently an active member of the Corpus Christi Association Petroleum Landmen and involved with the Journey to Damascus ministry.

Dan Suckley

Dan Suckley, Member

Mr. Suckley was appointed to the board in June 2007 to serve the remaining term vacated by former board member Dan Thornton. He is the Branch Executive Officer of American Bank on Padre Island. Mr. Suckley is a 1985 graduate of FBHS and has a BBA degree majoring in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He and his wife Rosanne have one son and one daughter who are students at FBISD. Mr. Suckley is very active in the community and serves as a board member for the Padre Island Business Association, South Texas Consumer Education Foundation, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas. He has been an active member of the FBISD Education Improvement Council for the past several years.
