| Dictionary Donation |
A gift of The Best Dictionary for Students was donated to the fourth and fifth grade students of Flour Bluff Independent School District on Tuesday, January 29, 2008. The presentation was held at the Flour Bluff Intermediate School Library. The dictionaries were donated by the Nueces County Republican Women (NCRW) and transported courtesy of the Corpus Christi Transfer Company, an affiliate of Mayflower Transit, LLC.
This contribution is made as part of The Dictionary Project, a program established in 2003 by the Texas Federation of Republican Women. This project is one of the organization’s community outreach initiatives with the goal of providing students with their own personal dictionary. Education is vital to the enhancement of the quality of life in the Coastal Bend Region. This donation will help students better prepare themselves for future endeavors as it is a gift they can use throughout their lives.
