| State Swimming & Diving Team |
Congratulations to the Hornet swimming and diving team on their accomplishments at the UIL State Meet in Austin, Texas on February 27-28. Individual results were as follows:
Chris Prewit - 1st Team All-State 100 Breaststroke, 2nd Team All-State 50 Freestyle; Taylor Orner - 1st Team All-State 1 Meter Diving; Taneesa Morris - 2nd Team All-State 100 Butterfly; Brittany Tennison - 2nd Team All-State 100 Breaststroke Honorable Mention All-State was Taneesa Morris - 200 Freestyle and Kevin Wilson - 200 Freestyle. 2nd Team All-State Relay Teams - (girls) Haley Land, Ceci Mestas-Nunez, Brittany Tennison and Taneesa Morris and (boys) Kevin Wilson, Michael Tracy, Andrew Willias, and Chris Prewit.

| FBHS State Competition Results |
| Congratulations to the FBHS NJROTC as they win their 15th consecutive Texas State Championship! The state meet was held at Texas A&M College Station on February 27-28. The Seahornets will compete at the Grand National Championship in Daytona, Florida in May. GO SEAHORNETS!
Congratulations also to the FBHS Decathlon Team on their accomplishments at the State UIL competition held in San Antonio. Individual results were: Dylan Keyes - 1st place in Honors Mathematics, Andrew Gurley - 2nd in Speech, Raine Gregus - 3rd in Interview, and Anthony Pabillano - 3rd in Art. Overall the team placed 11th in the State and 8th in Super Quiz.

Flour Bluff I.S.D. will celebrate Texas Public Schools Week March 9-13. Many activities are planned during the week on each campus including open houses and book fairs. Click here for a list of activities.

| FBHS Seniors Sign Letters of Intent |
| Congratulations to the following FBHS Seniors who recently signed letters of intent: Patrick Kasperitis signed with Division 2 St. Mary's in San Antonio to play soccer; Allison Monette signed with Wharton Junior College in Wharton to play volleyball; and Cory Foust signed with McMurry University in Abilene to play soccer.

FBHS Art and Digital Graphic Animation classes won 29 regional medals at the Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) held February 14.Students receiving regional medals and advancing to State VASE in April are Jamie Bevill, Trevor Cook, Anthony Pabillano and Doug Beard.

| District Activities |
| FBHS Digital Graphics & Animation, Art I, Art II Electronic Media, and GIS I and II classes will be exhibiting their work in the Noel McArdle Gallery in the Janet F. Harte Library. The show will be open to the public from March 4-29.
Operation Graduation will be holding a golf tournament on Saturday, March 28 at NAS Golf Course beginning at 1:00 p.m. For information and entry forms contact Karen Carden at 442-4294 or Laura Dietze at 215-2517.
