Student Nutrition Contest News
The Student Nutrition Department and Aramark held a reading contest recently and awarded five FBISD students $20 gift cards to Barnes and Nobles. These students were entered into a drawing after reading a book of their choice. There were over 500 entries at the Early Childhood Center alone! Read Hornets Read!

Food Drive

The Student Nutrition Department and Aramark is sponsoring a food drive for the holidays. Donate (3) nonperishable food items or (1) toy between December 3-14, and receive a ticket for a chance to win a $50 holiday gift card from Wal-Mart. Items may be dropped in the green Food Bank barrels located in your school cafeteria. Fill out the ticket and return it to a food service worker at your school before the end of the contest. There is no limit on the amount you can donate. Not only do you have a chance to win a great prize, you also have a chance to make a difference in someone’s life who may not be as fortunate.
