Students from Flour Bluff Intermediate and Flour Bluff Junior High traveled to Sugar Land on January 20 to compete in the TMSCA math/science competition. The competition was tough as most of the top 5A schools in the state were competing with Flour Bluff. The Flour Bluff teams consisting of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students placed 4th at the meet. The top performance of the meet was Flour Bluff's
Kellie Cyrus who had a perfect score in number sense. Results were as follows:

8th Grade Science: Cameron McIntrye (7th).

7th Grade Number Sense: Matt Gilmore (5th) and David Acker (6th).
8th Grade Number Sense: Kellie Cyrus (1st) and Brandon Mendiola (7th).
