| "Flour Bluff America" marched down Waldron Road Monday evening while hundreds of students, parents, staff and community members cheered them on. Over 50 entries braved the threatening weather and participated in one of the biggest Homecoming parades since 1992.
Local news and weather anchors Bill Vessy, Katia Uriarte, Krystal Kaliszewski and Dave Froehlich were parade judges.
Red, white and blue was clearly visible up and down the parade route by both parade entries and spectators. Uncle Sam, Statue of Liberty, U.S. Marines, 4-H animals, old cars, football players, tennis players, safety patrol, cross country runners, NJROTC, cheerleaders, twirlers, swimmers, golfers, marching band, school board members, education foundation members and many community floats were just some of the participants.
The parade ended at Hornet Stadium with a moment of silence in memory of 9/11 and special music by the FBHS choir before the grand pep rally and lighting of the FB.
