Blue Bell Ice Cream Celebrates Teacher of the Year
Blue Bell Creameries hosted a special ice cream party at the Primary School cafeteria on Wednesday, September 20th in recognition of Susan Gowens being named Teacher of the Year for Region II. "This is the third year in a row I have been at one of your schools," said John Finley, Blue Bell Territory Manger. "It is very unusual for us to be in the same place so often. This speaks volumes of what Flour Bluff ISD is contributing to education."

Every student and teacher received an ice cream bar after their lunch. Ms. Gowens received four gallons herself to take home.

On Monday, September 25, Ms. Gowens will be recognized at the Education Service Center as the Regional Elementary Teacher of the Year.
