Flour Bluff Intermediate students competed at the Wrenn Middle School Math/Science UIL Meet on Saturday, January 29 placing third place in Sweeptakes. Seven schools competed in the large (4A and 5A) school division.
Flour Bluff earned 291 points in the sixth-grade competitions out of a possible 500 points. However, the first and second place teams had seventh and eighth graders competing which gave them the opportunity to earn 1000 more points then Flour Bluff was eligible for. Nevertheless, Bush took first with 388 points and Sacred Heart placed second with 295 points (only four points more than F.B. Intermediate).
