The Flour Bluff Junior High District 4-A Co-Champions traveled to San Antonio to the State Swim Meet and made a big splash in the Flour Bluff I.S.D. swim program. The boys team finished overall in seventh place and the girls team finished 17th against the strongest competition ever seen at the state meet. The combined team score placed the Hornets in 8th place overall.

Steven Litz - 3rd 50 freestyle; 6th 50 butterfly
Taneesa Morris - 5th 50 freestyle; 6th 100 freestyle
Jeffery Wright - 6th 50 freestyle; 5th 100 freestyle
Andrew Ireland - 3rd 100 freestyle; 1st 50 backstroke
The 7th grade girls 200 freestyle relay finished in 8th place. The team consisted of Lisette Linares, Shelby McClure, Victoria Jullerat and Deann Rivera.
The 7th grade boys 200 freestyle relay finished in 3rd place. The team consisted of Andrew Ireland, Chris Prewit, Raphel Escobar and Stephen Litz.
The 8th grade boys 200 freestyle relay finished in 8th place. The team consisted of Mikey Kay, Kevin Wilson, Devin Shows, and Jeffery Wright.
