Flour Bluff Independent School District has amended their tuition-free transfer policy to include:

A student whose parent is employed on a permanent status at the Corpus Christi Naval
Air Station, Corpus Christi Army Depot, or is a tenant of the base.

Students may request transfer contingent upon initial screening and annual review of the students' disciplinary history, attendance records, grades and scores on the state-mandated assessment or other appropriate standardized testing.

Flour Bluff I.S.D. has lowered the fee for tuition-based transfer students to $950 annually. Applications are now being accepted for the 2010-2011 school year and may be picked up at the administration office or downloaded from the district web site at www.flourbluffschools.net.
