Flour Bluff High School 11th time Navy National Champions NJROTC will host the Seahornet Drill Meet on Saturday, October 15. Over 18 schools from across the region will participate in armed, unarmed, basic, physical fitness, academics, color guard and rifle shooting. The competition begins at 8:30 and ends at 5:00. Most of the events will take place at the Varsity Gym parking lot and it is open to the public.

Master Chief Petty Officer Rick West, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations is expected to visit the competition sometime between noon and 2:00 p.m. Master Chief West has just returned from Afghanistan and will be in the area to the attend the Naval Ball on Saturday evening.
