Hornet Spirit Shop

The Hornet Spirit Shop was originally opened in 1998 in a small office upstairs in the Varsity Gym.   It began as a collaborated effort with district officials and district booster clubs and organizations of FBISD to provide parents and community members “one stop shopping” for Hornet spirit wear and items.

Since moving to its bigger and new location in the Public Information Office in 2002, it has become a popular shopping arena for Flour Buff fans everywhere.  Parents, students, staff, community members and alumni are able to shop for items in one location instead of going from campus to campus and game to game.

Items for sale in the Spirit Shop are fundraisers from FBISD booster clubs, PTA’s, clubs and organizations.  All proceeds go back directly to the district to help support the students of FBISD.  Clubs and organizations help provide volunteers to help staff the shop in return for selling their items.

The Spirit Shop is managed by the Public Information Office and welcomes parent volunteers to work   3-4 hour shifts, Monday thru Friday.  The Spirit Shop is open only during normal school days and closed during the summer.  It does open in late July with a half price sale and for registration in early August.
