Beginning 6th Grade Band is a year-long course designed to offer students an opportunity to learn to play a band instrument. Students will be divided into like instrument groups (Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion). Emphasis will be placed on learning basic instrumental skills and technique, care of the instrument, and music terminology.
