The Hustlin' Hornet Band Program

The beginning of the Hustlin’ Hornet Band Tradition starts with the Sixth Grade Band. You may wonder how they get to march at games and parades and go to DisneyWorld or even on a cruise. First, you have to learn how to play an instrument. Your musical career begins here! We help you decide on an instrument that is best for you. We will learn all the basics plus so much more. We cover instrument assembly, notes, how to read music, rhythms, and explore various styles of music. Plus we will learn music theory, history, and appreciation. Practice outside of class is a major part of what we do. We give two public concerts a year. We also give performances on campus.
