Flour Bluff Intermediate Spanish Cultural Arts Fiesta Time... Spanish Cultural Arts offer students an opportunity to begin communicating in a foreign language, in a natural and enjoyable environment, before choosing one language to study further. Heighten students’ respect and appreciation for cultural diversity by comparing/contrasting the Hispanic culture with their own. Introduces students to the colorful Hispanic culture through fiestas, community guests, music, and art projects. Develop interdisciplinary skills by linking foreign language learning strategies with language arts, social studies, and math.
